The South Australian Government is committed to increasing opportunities for higher education graduates.
You can work in a supportive environment, develop new skills and have the potential to create a career in the public sector.
The Skilling SA Public Sector program is one of the key drivers in creating a flexible and diverse public sector workforce.
Graduate positions are available in a variety of disciplines, offering great diversity and career opportunities.
A graduate position within the South Australian Public Sector allows you to build on your existing skillset in a supportive work environment. You'll be paid to undertake a mixture of study and on-the-job training, culminating in a nationally-recognised vocational qualification.
For more program and eligibility information, visit the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment website and to view current vacancies, visit I WORK FOR SA.
The Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment is driving the Skilling SA Public Sector program to support more than 2600 participants to undertake a vocational qualification in the SA Public Sector over four years (up to June 2022). A Signature Project of the state government’s Skilling South Australia initiative, the program will build workforce capability by providing education and career opportunities for South Australians, and includes the public sector Aboriginal Traineeship Program.
The Skilling SA Public Sector program introduces an expanded scope of eligible qualifications in areas such as IT, Cyber Security, Health and Education Services, Human Resources, Work, Health and Safety and Project Management.
